This Privacy Policy explains how Roaya ("we", "us") handles information when retailers use our platform and when shoppers use the Roaya virtual try-on and image search experiences embedded on retailer websites.
Camera and face data — processed on the device
Roaya virtual try-on uses your device camera to position eyewear on your face. All face tracking and pupillary-distance (PD) estimation run locally, in your browser, on your device.
We do not upload, transmit, or store camera images or video. No face scans, facial geometry, or biometric templates leave your device or are retained by Roaya. The card calibration step produces a single scale number used locally to render frames at true size.
Information we collect
Retailer account data: names, work email, company details, and authentication data needed to operate dashboard accounts.
Usage analytics: aggregated, non-identifying events from the try-on and search widgets (for example, that a session started or a frame was viewed), used to measure performance. These events do not include camera data or biometric identifiers.
How we use information
To provide and secure the service, respond to enquiries and demo requests, measure and improve product performance, and communicate important service information.
Sharing and third parties
We use trusted infrastructure providers to host and deliver the service (for example, cloud database, storage, content delivery, and email providers). They process data only to provide their services to us.
We do not sell personal information.
Data retention
We retain retailer account and aggregated usage data for as long as an account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Camera and biometric data are never retained because they never leave the device.

Children
The service is intended for businesses and adult shoppers and is not directed at children.
